Established in 1984, the KTERC is the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal. KTERC runs a cooperative infrastructure where approximately 200 farmers pooled their small farms to create the 95 plus-hectare tea estate. The goal of the KTERC is to produce world-class tea's and improve the lives of farmers and their community. They truly value people over profit.
