Pu'Ehr and Dark Tea

Pu-erh and other Dark teas stands out as the only type of tea that experiences a post-fermentation phase. This involves fermenting the tea leaves after drying and rolling them. The duration of this process can range from a few months to several years.  In contrast, other tea varieties like green, black, oolong, and white are either non-fermented or semi-fermented, where fermentation halts before or during the drying and rolling stages.  The fermentation process creates a complex, smooth, earthy, and slightly sweet taste in your cup.
