From the Shizuoka region of Japan comes a traditional Japanese tea - Genmaicha. Made with larger leaves, stem bits, and rice kernels, it produces a toasted, buttery flavor and aroma when infused. This tea, also known as Genmai Cha or Brown Rice Tea, features roasted rice, some of which pops during roasting giving it a popcorn-like appearance.
Ingredients:
Organic Japanese Green Tea, Organic Toasted Brown Rice
Brewing Instructions:
Measure 1 tsp per cup (8-10oz)
Add 175-185° water
Steep tea 2-3 minutes
Remove tea leaves and enjoy
